How long do you have to wait for the veranda? Production and delivery usually take 2–5 weeks after the approval of the 3D sketch, but prior to that, measurements and design take place.

How long to wait for the veranda — order timelines

If you are planning a veranda for your house, one of the most important questions is — how long to wait for the veranda from the first conversation to the finished structure? The short answer is that production and delivery usually take 2–5 weeks after the sketch approval.

However, before production begins, the object still needs to be measured, the solution discussed, and a 3D sketch prepared. Therefore, the total time from the first WhatsApp message to the finished veranda may be longer.

Short answer

Once the object is measured, the solution agreed upon, and you have approved the 3D sketch, production begins.

Production and delivery usually take 2–5 weeks after the sketch approval.

During this time, we order the necessary materials, prepare the wooden parts in the workshop, saw, plane, treat and stain the wood, and paint the details if specified in the project.

When all parts of the structure are ready, we organize delivery and assembly at the site.

The exact timeline depends on the specific project. A simpler standard-sized veranda is usually quicker to prepare than a structure with non-standard sizes or more complex solutions.

What happens before these weeks

It is important to understand that the 2–5 week timeline starts after the sketch approval, not immediately after the first message.

First, you send us a photo of the house and tell us what you want. Then we visit the site and take the necessary measurements.

On-site, we check:

  1. the heights of the building and structure;
  2. the roof slope;
  3. the existing foundations;
  4. the placement of doors and windows;
  5. access and assembly options.

After measuring, we discuss your wishes and possible solutions. Then we prepare the 3D sketch.

You review and approve the sketch. If changes are needed, they are discussed before production.

We start production only after the sketch approval. That is why measuring, designing, and agreeing must also be considered when planning the overall timeline.

What extends the timeline

Not all veranda projects are the same. Some factors may require more time in both the design and production and assembly phases.

Non-standard sizes. If the structure significantly differs from standard solutions, preparing it and adjusting the details may take more time.

Glass solutions. Glass is a more expensive and specific material, and the solutions required for a particular project may affect the overall execution time.

Material availability. We start production after the sketch approval and ordering the necessary materials. If a project requires a material that is not immediately available, the timeline may be extended.

Seasonal workload. During warm weather, the demand for verandas, terraces, and other outdoor structures is usually higher. If multiple projects are in production at the same time, fulfilling the order may take longer.

Weather conditions. Production largely takes place in the workshop, but assembly occurs on-site. Unfavorable weather conditions can affect work on-site.

Foundation construction. If new foundations are needed for the veranda, this adds extra work before or during assembly. The specific solution depends on the site and the existing situation.

What shortens the timeline

The client themselves can also help make the process simpler and faster.

One way is to choose a size that is close to our most commonly used solutions, such as 3 × 4 m, 4 × 4 m, or 3 × 9 m. A standard size may not fit every house, but it can be a good basis to adjust to the site.

The timeline can also be shortened by quick review and approval of the 3D sketch. If the sketch is not agreed upon for a long time, we cannot start production yet.

If there is already a suitable foundation at the site, a separate foundation construction phase may not be necessary. This can only be assessed after examining the specific situation.

Another practical solution is to think about the veranda outside of the peak season. If measuring and designing start in advance, there is more time to calmly consider solutions and prepare for assembly.

When to order for the veranda to be ready in summer

If you want to use the veranda at the beginning of summer, you should not wait until the first warm weeks.

It is better to start planning in winter or early spring. Then there is time to send photos, take measurements of the site, discuss the structure, and prepare the 3D sketch before the busiest construction season.

It should be noted that the production timeline is only one part of the process. Before that, measuring and project approval are needed, and assembly can also be affected by weather conditions and the situation at the site.

The earlier you start, the more time there is for necessary decisions without rush.

If you want to find out the possible timeline for your project, send us a photo of the house via WhatsApp at +371 29828152 and briefly tell us what kind of veranda you are planning. After the initial information, we can discuss the next steps.
